Default Pacesetter/TSP y pipe ground clearance

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on some LTs.

My car has sportlines and I'm on 17s. It is real frickin low...like 3 inches in between the stock y and the ground.

Am I going to have a serious clearance problem with this setup...or am I just going to have to be extra careful afterwards. I'm not going to get it if I'm going to have 1" clearance underneath.

Also, Mac and Bassani mid-lengths...worth the trouble? I'm guessing not.

Thanks guys.

I have pacesetters, tsp y, and a loudmouth with sportlines. I have plenty of ground clearance. I would recommend the pacesetters

Sweet truck lol.

That's about where I'm at clearance wise with the stock Y.

I heard that the TSP Y hangs lower than the pacesetter Y. Can anyone confirm or deny that?

Thanks

I've also seen the pacesetter y-pipe riding higher than the TSP. The pacesetter Y has a slight crushed section (not going to hurt power) so that it will fit under the dreaded body brace. The body brace is what that dip in the picture is trying to clear. Thats the driver-side BTW.

I'd go with a set of poly motor mounts too, this will let you get the exhaust really close to the floorboard without having banging problems. They are a great mod anyway, $50, and a breeze to install with the exhaust out of the car.

I also have that set up, sport lines on there way, right now I have alot of clearance, and surprisingly if you mess with it, the TSP will tuck up there fairly well.
