Default Hooker LT problem

I have installed a set of Hooker LT's on my 01 SS. I drove it for about a week and it threw a code today, 1153. I have simulators and original o2s. Also I have noticed that it kind of lurches at low RPMs. I would get it tuned but the local shop here wants 800 dollars to tune and dyno any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

DTC P1153 HO2S Insufficient Switching Bank 2 Sensor 1

https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iii-external-engine/509539-water-got-up-intake-what-now-all-diagnostic-trouble-codes-dtcs-inside.html

The problem is your FRONT O2 sensors are not getting hot enough fast enough, so you're getting insufficient switching. What you need is a set of Bosch 13111 O2 sensors. They are made to be REAR O2 sensors for a corvette and have a much more powerfull heater. 'Vette rear O2's are so far back that they need this. The problem lies in that LT's cause you to have cooler exhaust temps at the O2 sensors. You won't need any tuning work after you throw these in.

Here's where you can get them for cheap.

BTW - $800 is a nutt-kick for a damn tune.

blur is dead on correct; however, in some instances the new sensors do not cure the problem, and you should get the codes deleted.
