Default Temp Sender

what size hole is the stock temp sender? I'm putting this into a 70 camaro. Should I put the sender with my new gauge in the stock location or at the back of the passenger head?

You'll have to leave the stock sending unit in place. You can put the aftermarket sending unit in the rear of the pass. head
