Default duals that dump b4 the rear end

im planning on installing a set of coated headers i have from another car onto my TA without a y-pipe just a length a stainless pipe off each collector into one muffler on each side then dumps before the rear end at an angle(not straight down).
how many people have done this and where your results much better than a traditional (over the rear end) setup?
does anyone have pics of their setup?

Splicing them together with at least an H-pipe setup will improve your sound quality by a great deal.

And power, at least some. Spring for an x or h pipe and make it true duals, not just muffler dumps.
