Default aluminum lids

does anyone make a polishished lid instaed of the plastic ones, i looked but couldnt find anything.

I have done alot of surfing when I was looking for a lid and I never saw one out there. I went with the carbon fiber look from the WS6 Store. Great guys check them out if you don't find what you are looking for.

heat soak is a main reasonnyou dont see aluminum lids

You could make one pretty easily then polish it with some aluminum, a bender, and a welder. Have you seen the MTI clear lids? I have one on mine and it usually gets a few looks from the non LSx crowd.

About the coolest thing I've seen in an LSx engine bay was a clear lid with a halo ring dry shot spraying on a dyno. I'd be tempted to sell my FIPK and go to a clear lid just to set up a purge in there....
