Kooks 1 7/8.....help me!
So I am thinking about getting headers and I found a pretty good deal! The only problem is that I have a almost stock 2000 WS6 (just a 346 c.i.) and the headers are kooks 1 7/8 not 1 3/4. What are the good things/bad things about this size?

i wish i had my 1 7/8" Kook's back
I just got a set of Jet Hot 1 3/4" headers. Don't think they'll be up to snuff on my setup.
There is a post in the Drag racing section where "SUX2BU" did a dyno comparison between the pacesetter LT's at 1 3/4" and the Kook 1 7/8" headers. Should look that up for some comparisons on a full bolt on vehicle.
Chris
I'll trade you my Jet Hot's that are coated

If you decide they're too big for your application, how about letting me get these from you or possibly from who you're buying them from. I'm not trying to buy they out from under you or anything, I'd just like an opportunity if you decide not to use them. Are they the race-only???

I've bought FAST 90/90, tons of suspension, and the Kooks headers/ORY from them.

If you don't plan on going past bolt ons from what I get from people on here you are just wasting your money. The again if you go with a power adder/stroker in the future its a good plan to get 1 7/8.
