Default dimensions of ram air....

can anyone show me a picture and provide me dimensions of a sheet metal cold air intake. ive looked at pictures so that really isnt neccesary but if someone has it and could measure out dimensions that would be great. im making my own from sheetmetal and having the dimensions would really cut out on trial and error. thanks in advance!

I think if any of us had one that wasnt installed we'd help you, well i would atleast.

I would try talking to SLP and just asking for the prints they used to make it

i hope this helps you. it's the install guide for the fast toys ram air system.

http://www.fasttoys.net/ramairinstructions.htm

maybe it'll answer a few questions since all the kits are similar in install.

whatever you gotta do, good luck. i know i wanna buy a FTRA system but the install looks confusing by reading that page hopefully it'll be easier than it sounds since you'll be looking at everything. good luck on your endeavors.

hey, if you got the mechanical ability, more power to you. i, however, have the mechanical ability of stevie wonder when it comes to working on cars. i'm afraid to touch stuff with cars, especially my own. anything else i'm not really afraid to rip apart. i'm just scared of making a thousand dollar mistake i guess. i think the SLP kit is a little less complex than the FTRA system and lacks the scoop so it'll probably be easier to replicate. good luck!
