Default larger diameter headers

i currently have 1 3/4 inch headers that are smashed and rusted to hell. im looking into getting the 1 7/8 inch kooks headers and a new y pipe to fit. im currently running an "s" cam and a ported t.b. my question is will these offer anymore power and are they worth the extra dollars? also do these headers have a bolt on collector to bolt they y pipe to or is it a slip on style? thanks.

1 7/8th are not the best for stock cubes. Stick with the 1 3/4 or get them stepped to 1 7/8th

Stay with the smaller tubes to keep exhaust velocity up, or else you will lose torque and "area under the curve" even though you might gain a few HP in the upper RPM range.

thanks guys. ill just stick with the 1 3/4'' kooks. now just gotta save some money for them plus the ory. also if i remember seening the kooks y pipe tucks very well correct? the reason i ask is because im riding on sportlines and 19s and i dont want to drag the y pipe as much. i know it will drag but i just heard it tucks very well compared to others. once again thanks.

Look at the QTP with the HVMC. It is the best of all the headers and will give you more power across the board.
