Any interest in new SLP CME tips and valence?
After scrounging around and finally digging up a set of brand new SLP CME tips and valence, it looks like I may not go that route when running my new exhaust system.
Just seeing if anyone might be interested before I throw it up on eBay.
I will say up front..its not going to be cheap- I paid a good chunk of change for them, and a used setup (rough-looking, to be honest) brought 645 bucks on ebay. These are all brand new.
I don't have enough posts to put this in the FS section (still don't get that rule) but I do have trader feedback.

Awesome car, too. Can't believe you are thinking about taking it off your car !

Before SLP stopped making/selling them a couple months ago, the prices were:
Tip: $225
Valence: $150
90-degree bends: $39 each
That totals up to $453 right there. And that was before the huge demand for them started, seeing as everyone now knows that it's harder to come by than gold. So one should expect to see a higher price than around $450 new. On Ebay, as he said, a used setup went for over $600. Stangkilr, another member here, has his used setup for sale (may have sold it by now) for $600. I have a new CME setup that has not been fully installed yet (only painted) and I'm thinking of selling it. Not trying to bash you or anything, but to put it plainly, expecting only $400 for such items now would be ripping off the seller, seeing as it likely cost him more than that alone.

You still on the fence about selling yours?
I will keep my setup before I sell it for 400 bucks.
Given the number of Camaros out there, its just a matter of time before someone wants a complete CME setup, and will be happy to pay the price I am asking.
As you know- you can't find these anymore.

Ive had the CME for about a year now. If I sold it it would be the tips, that have never been welded, I used self tapping screws to hold them to the 90's. And the valance. The 90's are welded to the hooker muffler so even if I cut them they would never fit right again anyways. Which you could have the 90's made an exhaust shop. If I decided to sell Ill PM you.

I don't think $600 is an unreasonable price for these items. If I was in the hunt like these guys seem to be, I'd definitely be willing to pay that. Put it up on ebay if you want to get rid of it and you'll see how much interest you have. Just set a reserve and if it doesn't meet it don't sell. That's the easiest way to get max money for your setup. Good luck with your sale.

This isn't the for sale section. You need 3 more posts now!
I hope you get a good price for it, they are awesome looking. If you bought it for $645 just to turn around and sell it, It's not that great of a deal, as your margin is going to be less than stellar.
