Y-Pipe: That much more power?

Y-Pipe: That much more power? Well, I just installed my Bassani off-road Y-pipe and o2 sims the other day and not until yesterday got to "put it to the test". Is it just me or did it free up a nice amount of HP in the mid to upper RPM range? It feels like there is more power in the upper powerband, but I am sure it is just all in my head. Do these things make that much of a difference? By the way I have the following mods to compliment:
- Fully ported MAF
- Ported TB
- Whisper Lid, K&N
- All free mods minus TB bypass and !air !egr
- Magnaflow with flowtech cutout
