Default Pacesetter Question

I have coated Pacesetters and a TSP ORY in the garage, and the Y-Pipe doesnt slip over the collectors. I figured they would slide on then clamp on, but maybe im wrong. Or is just one of the sleeve clamps that came with it good enough. -Thanks

Default here you go hope this helps

That's a pretty common problem(seen it at least 5 times) all it's in the cases that i've seen is either a very tiny(i mean very tiny)burr on the inside of the y-pipe, or the pipe is just a little crushed. If you have a burr just get a file and go around the inside of the pipe a couple of times and use wd-40 to get it on. If it's slightly crushed get a pipe grenade and expand the pipe till it's a circle again. http://www.agriemach.com/product_inf...roducts_id=886 (just in case you didn't know what is was) Hey but's a worth it when you get them on gotta love TSP AND PACESETTER ( I'M A TEXAS SPEED ***** )

Ps. the clamps won't do **** by themselve execpt make you sound like your a backhills redneck with a cherrybomb

Yeah, might need to expand a little. I had to do mine from the y to the I. I used a 20lb sledge and a 2x4. Good luck

Can you expand on that a little? I don't think that connection is sealed real well (header to y)...my car does sound kind of shitty.
