It is a good bolt on. You can free up some good power.

**** that was supposed to say alternator pulley!

my freakin ac belt is squeaking, so i figured, if im going to have my hands down in hard to reach places, might as well change the crank pulley while i got belts and **** off...

so let me refraze my question, anyone ever throw on a underdrive ALTERNATOR pulley?

You don't need to have the alt. pulley on underdrive also. You will probably have dim lights and bad charge on your battery.

From what I understand, its actually an OVERDRIVE alternator pulley that you put on to boost alternator output back up, while still turning the rest of the accessories at a slower pace.
