oh man, y didn't u say anything. That plug was the only thing holding me back on installing it today. I acually went to home depot, orchard supply, dale hardware, kragen, car quest, allied auto supply, napa; none of them have them. problem is that i don't have a dead o2, probably have to use one of my good ones and buy some new set later. Where did u get ur pipe plugs at? What brand were ur wheels, From the looks of it they look like HRE's

Is that 2.5" or 3"? Looks like they did a nice job, especially getting it to fit above the stock tunnel brace.

hey guys i hate to sound stupid but i heard today that putting a high flow exhaust on a ls1 or a cut out will cause you to lose low end and gain high end. dont know if it is true but i heard it from a diesel mech and thought i better ask before i throw that mod out the window. i have heard this from 2 friends how had it done also. should i just go with a better muffler? thanks

SLP and synergy worked around it to make it fit.

as for losing low end yes a tad, when i ran a cut out you can tell but it all depends what you want. top or low. i have yet to break in the new setup but im sure ill have more than enough low end AND enough top end

Can anyone recomend a good throaty muffler that is louder and deeper than the stock one. My car is pretty much stock it has some free mods done on it. I want to learn as much as I can about the ls1 before I start with mods. I have a 2001 ws6 with 25k this thing already blows the doors of most cars(with the exception of a zo6 of corse). Thanks
