Default intake question

someone is selling an intake off a 2004 cadillac cts-v, it comes complete with injectors, fuel-rails, etc. he says this is the LS6 intake and will work just fine with my LS1, but i wanted to get another opinion, will it bolt right up? or am i going to have to make modifications?

If the LS2 didnt exist in 04, so how is that? All CTS-V's have one piece LS6 intakes. Theres a great write about the swap, I would look for it simply for the coolant lines change .

so would it be worth getting? i just dont want to be stuck with it if its not the exact same intake as a normal LS6. Or maybe it is a normal LS6, still kinda confused.

2004 CTS-V's have the LS6 which has the LS6 intake. Exact same intake. Use the injectors and fuel rail off your 98 though.

Note: The CTS-V didn't start using the LS2 engine til 2006.
