Default My !MAF setup w/ pics.

After many hardware store trips I finished my !MAF install. I just used a 4" coupler from pepboys (in the ricer section) for about $12 and then the PVC pieces were about $5 total. The PVC looks crappy...need to paint it black or something. I used an angled 4" piece of PVC that is connected to a 4" PVC coupler. The reason there's 2 PVC pieces is b/c the 4" rubber coupler has an ID of about 3.9" whereas the stock rubber coupler (the ribbed one attached to the lid) has about a 3.5" ID. Anyways, pic #1 is the view that the TB sees. The smallest inside diameter PVC piece there is 3" whereas the TB blade is less than 3" so I think it will flow pretty good.

Oh and I'm running an open loop speed density tune so no need for the MAF or any O2 sensors (I tune w/ a wideband).

I see you got it figured out, not too bad at all. What is the ID of the plastic in pic 1?

Blacknredss - that's definitely something I would go for if I ever get a 90/90 setup. As for now I think mine's good enough.

Bowtieman - the ID of the inside pvc is 3" (TB blade is less than that so I think it's okay)
