longtubes and highflows
i'm taking my exhaust off soon and i know that running just open headers is bad for the o2's, but what if i put on highflow cats at the collectors? would that be ok to run for a while....like 2-3 months ok....cause i heard of some peeps that run open headers with highflows all the time and they seem to be ok. i also know that it will be hella loud but not as loud with some cats...i think it will sound badass...lemme know guys so i know what to do

everything seems to vary when the front O2's go will out while running open headers... some people have run open headers for almost a year with no problems...
i don't see why putting cats behind the collector would do any harm except maybe burn them up

would cats clean up the sound better then just clamping a bullet on each collector or just stick with the cats? i heard a 2002 Zo6 with just Longtubes and highflows and it had a stage III cam(thats what he called it....)and it wasn't really loud at all but it had a real nice lope to it thats really my reason for asking if cats would be best or just a bullet on each collector.
