LOL at the posts I deleted.
He was referring to the changes made in the block, techincal information that 'extra and the rest of you bastards have no interest in.
The LS2 TBSS dipstick has a hole toward the front of the block. The original bung (like found on LS1's) is still there, and drilled almost all the way through, but the tube won't go in. From the engine bay, it looks like that's the spot it goes, and you can't see it well enough to realize that it's just about 1/4" deep.
So enough with the dipstick jokes or I can see the banhammer swinging already.

BTW We were putting stainless works headers on his 06 LS2 powered AWD TBSS, coated AND stainless.
Sweet looking random tech cats too. Everything went in without a hitch, and we re-wrote the install manual, only used about half the steps. We didn't have to: 1) remove steering, 2) remove motor mount bolt, 3) remove front driveshaft (not completely at least). Probably saved us 3-4 hours of wrenchin'.

Not to mention:
- the pass side manifold comes out the top if you loosen the heater hoses (instead of the bottom, the reason they wanted the engine jacked up.).
- And before you got there cutting out the Y-pipe eliminated the need to drop the transmission crossmember.
