My review of my Cutout..
Well i got a cutout installed a little while ago, and once i opened it, i dont even wanna close it..LOL..i drove it for about 2 weeks open, and closed it just to see what it sounded like closed again, and it was soooooo quiet, i couldnt believe it..but it does feel alot smoother and quicker throttle response with the cutout closed though. SO now all i have to do if find a new exhaust system to put on my car thats going to sound sick when the cutout is closed.

Cutouts sound good on stock Manifolds, I liked mine when I had stock manifolds and rarely capped it. With the LT's, it only sounds good when you get into the upper RPM range, 'tis very loud and evil, and sets off car alarms. Other than that, when the engine is under heavy load at low RPM's, it really sounds shitty.
I really don't know what you're looking for to sound more sick, other than open headers?

Oh man. True Duals Mandrel bent X Pipe Over the axel with Magnaflow bullets sound SIIIIIIICK with QTP Long Tubes.
Although I am biased.
it is JUST SICK. and Everyone thinks my car sounds the best (not trying to be snotty, thats a testimate to the people who did the job... not me lol).
You cant go wrong with 2.5 inch true dual mandrel bent with an x pipe.
Bash the floor in and you have CRAZY ground clearance. I am dropped with DMS Springs and the clearance is the best around. Doesnt even sit lower than my SLP SubFrames.

True duals is the sickest sound, I have 3 inchers though.
