Default installed LS6...Problem now!!

I just installed my LS6 with EGR and now my oil pressure is way passed 80. I'm guessing I broke it. ANyway I called GM to get a new one and the guy asked me if it was a 2 blade or 4. Does anyone know if its a 2 or 4 blade?? I also followed the brake booster and I couldn't feel the oil pressure sending unit. Does anyone have pics on how it would look on a LS1 because I've seen one on the LT1, but I don't think it would be in the same place. I also noticed that my ASR(traction) doesn't work anymore and I can't find out why. Everytime I turn the car on it turns off by itself and when I press the button it won't even turn on

you are going to need to check your TCS module on your car and follow the wires and what not.
i'm trying to understand what you could have done/damaged to have the oil pressure raise that high. I'll look at mine tomorrow and see what i can find

either broke or never pluged in the oil pressure sending unit that is located right behind the intake manifold very common with a manifold swap

Mine reads screwy after my LS6 install. I did break my original one and installed another after I had the new intake on. Now it reads just below 80 when cold but closer to 45 when warm. It also jumps around every now and then from like 75 down to 65 and then back when it's still cold...stupid sender.

yep, prob busted the sending unit. As for your TCS, did you take the cables out of the plastic thingy behind the battery?

NOPE! I never touched it besides moving those cables out of the way for the install.

Check the MAP sensor and wiring on the back of the manifold for the ASR problem.

I just installed a SLP LS6 Intake w/ EGR but didn't have the slp parts to hook up my egr valve. I left the EGR disconnected and capped the intake. I have an SES light because of that. So you might check to see if you EGR valve is sealing good.

You can always goto Autozone and get it scanned as well.

BTW, you wouldn't happen to know what kind of fittings/sizes of the hardware you used to hook up your EGR valve? SLP won't sell me what I need.

For those of you who broke this, is it normal for your service engine light to come on?
