Help! Can I run with the EGR hose disconnected temporarily?
I just put on the LS6 SLP intake but don't have the swagelok to hook the egr valve to the intake. I plan to plug the egr hole on the intake but that still leaves the egr hose "hanging around" open to the atmosphere. Will that be ok until I can get the swagelok because I don't have a blockoff plate?

I used a 3/4" Brass plug for the intake and unplugged the wiring harness plug for the EGR. Car seems to run a tad bit stronger now but the SES light is on naturally. I'll try to get the car scanned tomorrow and hopefully I'll only get an EGR code.
