Default AIR Question, doing headers

Im gettin hooker lt's with no emissions on them, and was wondering on the AIR setup i have on my car now, can i just put the headers in now and leave the AIR itself just hanging there and when i have time take the whole air system off.... ?

and for the people that have actually taken the AIR system off is there an easy way to do it how do you access the air pump itself do you have to take the fender well out or what??

thanks

Well first off i would just pull the metal brackets that are supposed to bolt on to the top of the header off of the tubes going on to them, then i would plug them with something so you dont get the noise.

And getting to the air pump is easy by getting under the car where the pump is and there is a door panel that gives you access by removing the bolts that hold the plastic flap closed.

removing AIR was SOOOO easy. I messed with twisting the tubes for like five minutes and was able to remove the whole system in less time than that. Yeh theres a little flapper door RIGHT under the air pump that makes it easy to get to, you can even take the drivers side headlight out (which is also easy as hell) if you want some more visibility.
