Oil Pressure
is the stock oil pressure gauge a dummy like the water temp gauge? i'm gonna be putting a water temp gauge in the a-pillar and wanna know what is recommended for a heads/cam car.

Actually the '98 water temp guages worked decently, 99+ guages were junk. It's important to note that the car displaying the temp to the driver, is what is junk, not the temp sending unit. The PCM knows EXACTLY what temperature the coolant is, it just chooses to lie to you for some reason.
