Default Emission Flange on my QTP header fell off. Is there enough room to weld the flange...

Back on with out disconnecting the Header? This is on the drives side BTW. Has anyone ever had this happen to them? The damb weld on the emmissoin flange started cracking on the header tube (primary)itself when I was hitting my car with a 150shot. BTW I did a search and found no matches. Thanks in advance.

Depends on how good your welders are, I'd get someone who's handy with a tig torch to look at it.

This same thing happened to a friend of mine. We ended up taking the header off the car and having someone weld in a patch.

Remember, that driver side header is cake to take off too. You can reach all the bolts pretty easy and it should slide out no problem.

That's true, It was'nt that bad. On the QTP's I remember the key was to insert the driver side header straight up and then turn it horizontally into position. Thanks for the reply's guy's.

Did you have the fitting blocked off. Because that can happen if it is.

Yes I do have Block off plate's on the AIR emmissoin flanges. Why would that cause the welds to break?

The pressure of the exhaust being trapped in the fitting. Happens all the time when they are blocked off.
