It'll be loud and somewhat raspy, but not near as bad as the lm1 since the 2 has at least some dampening material in it.

i'd consider cats AND a bullet. you can always try the ORY and if it's too bad, just add the cats and bullet later. it's more forgiving than a LM1. i've only heard the LM2 in sound clips, though. i didn't like the LM1 when i heard it in person, but it was stock manifolds.

im in the same boat man. youre in luck actually...i just dropped my car off at my local muffler shop to have flanges put on my cat and orr-road pipe w/ a built in cut out...that way i can switch for emissions testing, racing, neighbors bitchin etc. i have a lm2 and edelbrock headers, but im in an lt1. ill let you know if it rasps/pops or whatnot...maybe even put a video up if i can borrow my buddies camera.

I think Loud Mouth 2 will sound really nice with that setup. A local guy has that setup and it sounds VERY nice!!!

Buddy of mine has that setup as well, I think it's too raspy. He calls it "high pitched", but I think it sounds like ***. Keep cats man! It'll definitely sound good then, no if ands or buts about it.

I have that set up and it is loud and raspy. I can't see a LM1 being any worse.

I have that setup and I think it sounds pretty good. It sounds no where near as horrible as the LM1 setup, trust me I doubt you will hate it and it def is not unbearable, in fact the drone is almost totally gone, its actually quieter at highway speeds, this may sound crazy but I swear its really quieter when crusing but it screams at WOT

just got back from school and test drove my car...edelbrock mids, ory, and lm2. i was suprised...i dont have any rasp at all and suprisingly good tone. but like i said...its an LT1. so this post is probably worthless. if you want i can still try and get a video for you. hope your set up works out well though bro.

I HAD the LM2, ORY and pacesetters on my car and i hated it. Sounded good at idle and wide open but under normal acceleration, it sounded like a old truck with straight pipes. Too much cackel or plat-plat sound for me so i went with true duals.....now i'm going back to the cat-back but replacing the lm2 with a spiral-flow and probably a cut-out. Good luck with finding a sound that suits you (its driving me f-in nuts)
