Default Help with ebay headers....

Just installed some ebay headers and sweet thunder true duals a couple days ago. Right now im running the stock O2 sensors up front and sims on the rears. The car seems to be running a little sluggish, and bucks a little bit. I was told that I may have to go with the Bosch 02's, but im not sure that will fix the problem. Can you guys think of anything else that it may be, or would the Bosch 02's fix this? Thanks a lot.....

Ive got the same headers and O2 sims on the rear with the bosch O2s and my car runs flawlessly. Did you get the TSP duals? how did they hook up to the headers is your clearance good on the drivers side?

No I ended up buyin an exhaust from a friend, its just 3 inch pipe into an x and then sweet thunder mufflers. It fits like a glove, and clearance is pretty good too. I probably got an inch between the pipe and floor boards, and about 4-5 from the ground. What is your set up right now, and wouldn't my ses light go on if the stock 02's weren't functioning correctly?

not sure about the SES light coming on but I used a scanner and one of the codes it brought was high voltage O2 sensor or something I think it may be from the bosch o2 13111's. I got rid of my AIR and EGR also so it may be from that. Im running those headers, a modified tsp ORY and LM that was on the car when I bought it.

I had a feeling it was gonna need a tune, now its throwing a couple codes though. It says its running to lean, cylinder 7 is misfiring, and an 02 sensor has slow response. You guys think the tune would fix all these problems?

I would try the corvette O2's first since all you have to do is drive down to local auto parts store and throw them in. If that doesnt fix it then I would say get a tune.

Get a tune, man. All of those problems are stemming from the lack of a tune. You are running rich after the header install and now ruining other parts like O2 sensors and plugs because of it. You're going to at least need a new set of plugs and possibly some new corvette rear 02's for the front.

Considering plugs and wires are removed during the install I'd go back and check all that 1st.
