What do you mean you got Borla? Did you get a Borla catback as in one muffler, 1 in 2 out?

That wont work with a X Pipe, after the x it would have to Y back together to go into the muffler.

If you got two Borla mufflers, like say the XR1's, then yes, that would be true dual's.

Dont really know what you're saying though...elaborate.

You might want to check the stickies and find out more about true duals. X pipe is true duals...Borla is not. You could use the muffler from Borla in a true dual setup.

Yes you have to get a Y-pipe. You should have researched before just going out and buying whatever. When you buy the QTP's get a Y-pipe along with it. Check the sizes as well and whether or not you want emissions.

true duals mean two pipes exiting the X-Pipe and continuing all the way out to the back or commanly many people dump both pipes before the axle

Bottom line:
You will need a Y-pipe for the headers.
No, you will not have true duals and no you can't use an X-pipe.
