Default Overheating Problem

I'm having trouble with my LS1 overheating when at Idle. I am running a new four core aluminum radiator with electric fan. If I bring idle up to around 1500 the temp will return to normal. Its like my water pump is not producing enough flow at idle. Any suggestions or do they make a high volume pump for the LS1?

check the t-stat, could be stuck until there's enough pressure

Are you running an underdrive pulley?? If so, try the stock one and see if it helps.
