Did you use the stock exhaust hanger locations when it was installed? Maybe it isn't secure enough?

first make sure that there is no way that you can adjust it to get more clearance.

when i got my rumbler i put it on and then had to adjust it some, and then it was better but not great. then i took it to an exhaust shop and they had to bend the pipes alittle more (and weld them), now it fits great.

moral of the story: the rumbler is a great performing exhaust, but the fit sucks.

No issues on mine with banging, but I paid an exhaust shop to install and weld it up instead of messing with it myself.
