Question If my Headers still rub some.............

If my Headers still rub some, Is it a definate that my knock sensor will pick it up
?

Not definite, but it can happen. Sounds like some grinding is in order.

If it's only banging on the tunnel, just loosen all the clamps and pull down to give more tunnel clearance, and retighten clamps.

If it's banging elsewhere, then Orange suggested pics.

can always heat up the lt's if you have access to a torch and bend them to clear... least that's what I did w/321 stainless (some hard **** to bend)

What did you use to bend them ???
and what torch ??? Like an off the shelf one ?

Im asking this because my QTPs hit on the passenger side, on the tranny and it makes my car feel like a vibrator......

Yes its the passenger side, and I see where they get close on the tranny side, but my number 1 primary hits my K-member just barely. I never hear it or feel any vibrations. I just loosen all my header bolts last night and pushed the header up and tightend them back down, no success yet. Hopefully when I get the exhaust pipe welded into the Y-pipe I will push up some. Clearance is tight and I dont want to make something else rub.


I will try to take some pictures tommarrow night.

It ran really really strong tonight. Very impressed, still , with these headers.
