Default Running Headers With Untuned Car?

Is it okay to run headers with an untuned car until i get it tuned which will be in about a month? I have high flow cats and lm exhaust.. will this hurt my cats or anything else? thanks..

It will be fine. I drove for 5 months after my header install before a tune. It might run a little rich and there's a chance the Check Engine Light will come on, but the car will drive just fine.

I have seen people foul out there O2 sensors running that rich, but that without cats. You should be good to go.

Ive got LTs and no tune. As the others said, I run a bit rich but it drives just fine. I may be missing out on a couple horsepower though without the tune. Im just waiting for the cam to get the tune.

I have long tubes, off-road X pipe, and a couple bullet mufflers dumped...but I won't be getting a tune until I get that cam I have been longing for so much. Stupid tires set that back though
