Default LS6 intake

I got my used LS6 intake last night and I want to paint it gloss black. Can I just clean it with parts cleaner all over, sand it, then clean it with rubbing alcohol to get it prepped?

You can follow the painting plastic parts guide in the Sticky Hall of Fame. Its a great post. Good luck with it.
