will my flowmaster cat-back from my 98 LS1 fit on a 99 3.8?

Im pretty sure it will fit but the LS1 catback will have bigger piping then the V6 so not really sure if it will help, also you might need an adapter for the Y pipe

if it will physically bolt up into place under the car, the guy can fab it up to mate to the stock y-pipe. i just want to know if it will hang under the car on the stock hangers.
