Default bad engine ping after installing mods

My 2000 WS6 was stock till today. I put an SLP lid on and a superchips and a ported MAF. Now when it gets to about 4k rpms it pings like hell. Do ya think the MAF is doing it? I have a ported MAF and a superchips on my C5 and don't have any problems at all.

what is this superchips? from what ive read they dont make chips for our cars they just make programmers, a link would help to exactly what that is, that is probally what is causing it unless you messed up porting the MAF, which ive never heard of doing usually you just port the TB

The superchips microtuner. It's a hand held tuner. superchips is just the brand. I have used them on all my cars in the past and had no problem. I have read about the MAF porting and descreening causing problems but I have that done on my vette and it works great.

id try taking the tune back to stock see if thats fixes it, if not id suspect the ported maf. modifieng the maf usually makes the car alil leaner, then the tunning makes it leaner yet+advances the timing, all pushing it closer to the lean side.

+1 on the MAF being the culprit. I put it back to original and things returned to normal.
