Default Harmonic Ballancer

I was just wondering if frequently taking your car up to 6000+ rpm's will reduce the longevity of your stock bearings and internal parts. I hear that aftermarket harmonic ballancers reduce crank walk and engine vibration quite a bit and make your car run better. Do alot people have them on there street/strip car? I just want to play it safe and do all I can to make the motor last long. My trans am has a T-Rex, full exhaust, th400, all the usual bolt ons etc...

Id do it, its a fairly cheap mod and yes less vibration would be better for the internals, another thing is you would never have to worry about skipping a tooth, not that it happens that often though
