Default What Next? Headers or 3.73's?

I've got a lightly modded 01 A4 with the following

factory 3.23's
SLP Flowpac
SLP Y-Pipe
P/P TB
Cutout in I-Pipe
TB Bypass

Just was curious what you guys think I'll benefit more from? LT's or Gears (3.73's)?

What sort of gains rwhp/rwtq are we talking about on a lightly modded car like mine?

Don't get gears... Its either stall converter or headers... I chose header, my next mod is 3200-3600 stall.

and throw on a LS6 IM and you will have all the supporting mods you need to make use of LTs and to answer your hp question- over 25 at the wheels get pacesetter if you have a budget and QTPs if you want the best IMO

Out of the two, I vote headers too. I hear a stall really wakes up the A4's though.

As far as power, I dont know if you'd actually 25 hp. You probably wont get everything out of the headers til you get the car tuned.

But, with Lid, LS6 intake, slp LT's and running open ORY, i put down 353/361 after the tune. Thats through a M6 though.

i say headers also.if it was an option i'd say get a stall though, that will probably give you the best improvement.and as allready stated headers usually only net you more power when tuned and through an auto gains will probably be around 15 rw.

If I could go back in time, I'd do headers instead of the gears.

I went gears first but I noticed most people do headers first.

Get Stall 1st... I would then go with Headers.. .. I would still Sport your 2.73 or 3.23.
