This is unusuall, because I have the same system and its the loudest I've ever heard. Maybe you have a spark plug thats not firing and your running on 7 cylinders. Does the acceleration feel considerably slower than it used to?

Check to make sure that your o2 extensions aren't burned. If your computer isn't reading the o2s, then that would cause it to run like crap.

did you get it tuned? headers tend to make you run rich..would do what your saying. The loudness part...sound is SUBJECTIVE. People say my rumbler is loud..I think its quiet.

Yeah, I agree with this. When I put my cutout in, I cranked it up and was like....UUUMMMMM. That not nearly as loud as I was expecting. When you dont hear much in person you get this thought in your head about what you expect it to sound like. Then when you hear it in person, its normally quieter. Just my .02

i dont think not getting it tuned is the problem. i know of many cars that run fine without it (including mine). check all your plugs and wires #8 is always the toughest. then go to advanced or wherever and get it scanned for free. that should steer you in the right direction.

if youre not tuned you could be running really rich.. if your o2s are dirty you can clean them off with a torch..

my thought is one of the wires isnt on all the way i would just take all them off then check the plugs to make sure there not black with oil, then make sure the plugs are tight, then put the wires back on and make sure you put some muscle behind it also sometimes you think there on and there really not. and make sure threre connected to the coil packs also.. hope this fixes it good luck man.

I had my car tuned when I got the exhaust installed, you should have it tuned maybe. And defintely check the ignition like everyone's saying. It might be a bad plug wire or something as little as that. Good luck to you!
