Default Vibtration at 2400 RPMs

ok my passanger side LTs were hitting the k member. and it was banging really bad and vibrating horribly.. So i nothcehd out the k meber where the LTs were hitting. so viola no more banging.. But at 2400 RPMs any gear 1st - 5th it vibrates but no where near what it was jsut bothers me a bit. At that speed of the motor is that were the LTs have a tone to just vinbrate??? I do not think that poly motor mounts will fix this. any one else have any idea???????

That's resonation, learn to live with it. My TSP duals did it at 2100 when I was dumped, and I had the mounts. Anything you connect to the system or change will change it's "natural frequency" which is where the resonation is happening.

Poly motor mounts might help, and should clear your banging too. After all the 6000 posts of mine where I recommend them, why in the hell didn't you buy a set?

I think that you are hearing something different because most 99.8% of people hate the sound.

I read it as if you HAD banging, whoops lol. The poly mounts do have some "give" to them. If you don't have banging problems, I wouldn't mess with them, as they are a pain in the ***.

It was in response to bjamick. I was thinking that he was hearing a rasp sound, but I know what he is talking about now.

It is a hollow ring sound. mine is like at 3200. The cam has some to do with it. That is how I know that I can stand on the throttle.
