The amount of money you'd spend there justifies just buying the flowpac. I picked up the Flowpac, and even though it's not the cheapest thing out there, I do feel that it is most definitley one of the most well made. The fitment is EXCELLENT and it simply looks awesome. words of warning: if you pick it up, becareful with the foam adhesive strips. You'll know what i'm talking about when you get there! Good Luck!

get the slp lid and get either FTRA or SSRA. These two ram air packages are much better than slp's flowpac. Ill be getting the slp lid and the FTRA soon. Not getting SSRA because it comes down too low at the front bumper and many people talk about how they have accidently ripped theres off by going too far up on parking bumps.

I just picked up the MTI clear lid with the SLP stuff separate. Lid looks wicked. The ram air thing from SLP made a small difference from what I can tell. But you only really need a lid, that's where the majority of the power you get from the "flow-pack" comes from. With just the lid installed when it was stock, I could definitely tell a difference. Awesome.

SLP make some good stuff, the Flow Pac is not one of them.

Essentially it's all pretty crap and well over priced. The lid is very good, the bellows is a laugh as it does nothing and is only a bit of humped silicon hose which you can buy pretty much anywhere and CAI isn't the best. Plus K&N filters are not great either.

CAI kits like the k&n or volant look good but are expensive and offer nothing in performance terms over other cheaper setups.

IMO:

-Get a lid - any SLP, TSP and so. Some fit better some rub some crack. - Search

-Get a new OEM paper filter. They are proven to supply enough airflow for 500bhp n/a. A k&n is expensive to buy, expensive to clean, requires more cleaning than a paper filter, doesn't filter as well and to top it all flows worse when dirty (which happens quick quickly). Plus a lot of people have issues with over oiling which then means it buggers up your MAF so you have to clean it also.

-stick with the stock bellows unless for cosmetic, then just go and buy a 3x3" humped silicon hose for about $10

-stock MAF

-The FTRA (Fast Toys Ram Air) is well proven and works well, only downer is if you are an auto and run an aftermarket tranny cooler space is at a premium and you'll have to custom fit it.

EDIT: Take the HP claims with a pinch of salt, as sadly many claims are very misleading. Also it is a claim over stock, if you have any mods already you probably won't see the same gains. Also if you under estimate the gains and they then turn out to be better you will be happy, if its the other way round you'll only be upset.
