Well my point was how can you say it's too raspy without any knowledge of it?
As for links, no. But do SLP make a LM for the Vette or GTO? There have been other posts in the past about using LM resontators in a dual setup. Personally on the right system I think they will sound very good.

the reason that i was asking was b/c there was an 05 GTO with TDs and actually had SLP LM for the mufflers.. not custom.. it was an actuall c/b.. sounded great.. i think that i am going to have to try this... but the only thing was and i asked the guy if it was LM1 or LM2 and he said the answer but i forgot what he said

IMO I would not get the LM2 as there are far better and cheaper bullet mufflers out there. I do however like the LM1 muffler. It is loud and in your face. But on the correct setup it is not raspy.
Now some people hate this type of sound, and you'll find they are generally the people who prefer the Hooker, Corsa or Magnaflow catback. People who like the LM setups are usually the people who like the TSP Rumbler, GMMG and so on.
Also there seems to be a stupid predigest against the LM for some reason and some people will hate it even without hearing it. Or more stupidly they hear it like and then are told it's a LM so they then decide to hate it.
Personally I think the LM needs to be run with cats for optimum sound. It will still be very loud. However if you are set on being catless there are other ways. A combination of mufflers will often produce the best sound. Bullet mufflers again are an easy fix hear, but they will alter the sound quite a bit.
If you like LOUD in your face, muscle car sounds then these are the mufflers I would recommend. You'll need to decide on the amount of muffliing required and any combinations of mufflers you'd like to try, although they canbe used on their own.
-SLP LM1
-Classic Chambered Powerstick (similar to GMMG, use Google and search for Classic Chambered Exhausts)
-Stainless Works chambered mufflers (same as Powerstick but in stainless steel)
-Flowmaster 10 Series
