Default Exhaust size and design.

hello

Sorry for the bad english, not my main language.

Setup.
400crank HP

longtube headers, 3 inch y-pipe at the "front". Going to a singel 3" ( no cat ) pipe. Then back to a 3 inch rear y-pipe and 2 preformance mufflers.
Is that enough? Or would I benefit alot to go true 3" dual all the way?

Thanks

HI from Canada...that setup should be fine unless you want to go true-duals.

Thanks for your answer. Yes true duals are on the wish list. But for now this is sadly the setup i going to use untill I can afford to build me a true stainless dual system with sport cats. The reason I ask is mainly if im going to be down much on power with this "singel 3"" comperd to a dual 3"? Or if this is exhasut system will be so much restricted I can break something with the engine?

Thanks

I am running a 2.5" Y pipe into a 3" intermediate. If I didn't already have the 3" cat-back I would have run the same Y into a 3.5" intermediate when I installed my LT's.
