Default Air lid air sensor

I have a SLP lid with the small sensor at the top before the MAF, how do I get it out?

just start twisting it until it can go all the around , then pull & wiggle

A couple drops of liquid dishwashing soap makes it easier to remove - pulls out from the back. Rinse and dry thoroughly before reusing...

Yup that is what I did. Just becareful not to break the AIT sensor.

I did this with mine, and I completed the swap in 10 minutes.

i just went and got a new gromet and sensor in case i had to put the stock one back it would be a easy switch. parts cost less than 20 dollars

i just put my lid on yestorday and i kinda just pulled and pryed and it came off the hard part i thought was getting in back in

I used a small flat head screw driver and pushed from the sides. took me a while to figure out and pissed the hell out of me.
