Default Is the optional coating that Kooks uses for their headers similar to Jet Hot's?

I'm thinking about ordering Kooks longtube headers from TTP Performance for both my 2002 Z28 and 2006 GTO, but I want them coated. I know Kooks can coat them, but I'm wondering if the coating and coating process they use is similar Jet Hot Coating's. If that's not the case, then I'll order from another vendor that can actually ship the headers out to Jet Hot Coatings and get them coated with the optional 2400 degree coating. Can somebody please give me this info? Thanks in advance for the info.

Get Stainless steel. It is the same cost as the coating, and it will hold up 100X better than the coating.

Depends on what you want. The coating will help the underhood temps, but not much and it will eventually start looking shitty. I like the look of my stainless headers and wouldn't cover them up.
