Default Meziere EWP ... which stat to get?

Im gonna purchase one of Mesiere's EWP's .. but i dunno which thermostat to get

i understand that its one of the SBC stats .. but im new at this and i have no clue on earth on whats it about! and will i need any other parts to get ths EWP workin?


someone help me out here please

dont change the stocker. dont go 180 or 160* just re-tune your pcm to kick the fans on earlier. the only thing you need w/ the EWP is maybe a safety switch to elt you know if it ever isnt running

You probably don't know that you can't retain your stock t-stat when you switch to an EWP - you have to use one from an SBC.

Any write ups on hooking up a saftey switch to the EWP?

get a Small Block Chevy Thermo... its like really cheap. Speed inc has them in the same section as the Meziere EWP. I just ordered mine 2 days ago

Changing the fan temps without changing the thermostat is not the right thing to do. The 'stat would be constantly opening and closing due to the temp swings.

If the water pump stops working, the temp will go up and the SES light will come on and eventually shut the car off.
