Default Is this a problem?

Take a look. I figured I could bend it. But not my favorite thing to find when opening up the box to my new Jet-Hot's.

kinda sucks, most likely need to round that back the way it is supposed to be, i guess its down to whether you want to fix it or go through sending it back and having them fix it...

go to a craft store and buy a wooden ball that will only go in 1/4, get a tourch and a rubber mallet, use the torch to heat the metal where it needs to be straightend use the torch to soften up the metal ,then place the wooden ball in the opening and start tapping it with the rubber mallet ,it will gentely pushing the woodend ball into the opening and forcing the lip back open.
I would use a propane torch
the only thing that may upset you is it might discolor your coating from the heat cycle
