Default Bump stop mod, will it hurt anything?

will the bump stop mod hurt anything, i have heard it will set ur ses light off if u go past 90 degress with the blade, is it worth it to do.

becuase i am in the middle of portin the t/b

its only worth it if you arent getting 100% opening. you will have to get a volt meter and open the throttle blade and see what your voltage is

Installuniversity.com has a writeup. If you got past 4.7v, it will set the SES light.

It's not going to hurt if done right, but it may not make a difference. Some throttlebodies were mis-cast and only open like 82% of the way.
