Default Underdrive pulley...

I here that going to a lighter underdrive pulley can eventually affect your cam and make it off balance, is that true?

nope.... a UD pulley has nothing to do with your cam. your crank speed controls your timing chain which controls your cam.

the size of the pulley has no play in that!

lighter pulley = more hp

... and improper balanced timing sprocket will give your cam problems
