Possible cat problem?
I downshifted to pass someone and all of a sudden I felt a dip in power, a small pop, then it came back. The car has been running a lil quircky since then, bogging when it shouldn't among other things. I've noticed a drop in power. Could one of my cats have blown out into my catback? Is there any way to quickly check for this?
*sigh*

You didnt get a SES light for anything? No codes? Reason I say that is my cat went bad a couple weeks ago but I got a SES light with code P0420 for bad driver's side cat. I did notice a slight hesitation after that but nothing like what you are describing.

Mmm....cookies
But anyway I actually just turned my car over to the local Pontiac dealership yesterday (more than 20 miles away). I honestly can't say i noticed anything different. Although I had intermittent passenger cat problems so maybe since I bought the car I have been down on power The guy asked because I made it in under the 8/80000 warranty (65,053) and they didnt want to do free work for nothing. But I've heard of people with as low as 30,000 miles having to replace the cats....which is why im getting rid of them in a couple months
