QTPs are the best but pacesetters are very economical.

Seem to be missing quite a few options there! Your going to get all kinds of opinions on this subject, the best overall header for one person may not be the best for another person.

I love my Kooks though, slid right in with no issues. Only had to remove the dipstick to get to a manifold bolt, but the price will make some leary of calling them the best overall.

Clearance issues with any LT besides SLP usually refers to the y-pipe being tucked too high and hitting the floor board. SLP's are know for hanging way too low.

There was a thread here before about QTP's that addressed some big issues with the QTP's. They had fitment issues.

I am a Corvette owner so I picked the LG Pro Long Tubes. Just wait until all you
F-Body owners can get your hands on the upcoming new LG Pro Long Tube headers for your cars. Going to be pretty wicked.

i had hookers, and had no issues at all. good header. ill probably go with pacesetters next. people say qtp, and kooks are better and make more hp. but ive never seen an actual hp difference from one brand then switching to the next. i dont care bout stainless steel anways. people have ran coated headers for years with no problems.

I have Hedmans. Very easy to install, no fitting issues, and no ground clearance problems. They're def a great buy. If you need good headers for a good price don't over look them.

all depends on what you want to spend, pacesetters are best bang for your buck, cheap but get decent gains, only prob is they are not stainless, i went out and bought the QTP's because i wanted the stainless steel headers, figured if i'm going to get something i may as well go all out.

I like my Edelbrocks, but if I get another set, it will be KOOKS--they seem to have the least fitment problems..according to people on the site. Alot of people seem to say QTP's are a problem when installing...less so with KOOKS.

yeah qtp's have issues, driver side you need to remove the oil plug and filter and have the car up extra high then it slides right in, passenger side slides in easy but sometimes sit's close to the k-member and to avoid hitting/rubbing on the k-member people have dented their longtubes, others have grinded down the k-member some.

You should add the "@ #" Stainless Steel longtubes up but I dont think the mods would like that since they are not sponsors.

QTP's all the way but if ur on a budget go for pacesetters. ur only missing out on a 2 or 3 rwhp and they are like 300 or 400 cheaper than other headers

The F-Body pro long tube header from LG Motorsports PROTOTYPE is complete and has been sent to be mass produced. Shouldn't be long and you guys with the F-Bodies will be very happy. More HP/TQ and a kick *** sound that only LG Motorsports can deliver. Can't wait, I hope my friend will be one of the first guys with a set. Stay tuned.
