Search is bullshit. You usually never find exactly what you're looking for and if you do it takes all ****** day.

Honestly, lighten up. The search doesn't even work that much at all anymore.

There's a good thread from Jeremy Formato about his gains with these two intakes, he does port them and I think most of his data includes ported intakes. But I can't find the fuggin thing because the damn search doesn't work.

IIRC...he was getting 14-17 RWHP gains from his ported LS7 intake over a ported LS6 intake. NOT 100% sure though, just from memory.

skipping past your rude remarks, but at least youre knowledgable.

Will LS7 heads work on a LS1/LS2 block so that you can run a LS7 intake? Would it be worth it?

People do it on every forum about anything on the web. The thing is the only way it annoys me is if the answer is a few threads down on the front page. After that if you don't want to answer don't post IMO.

quit whining girls.. just because I told the guy to search makes me rude? right.. and i spent all of 3 minutes running a search and came up with 4 threads related to this..

I didnt swear, or call names, or anything else.. just told him to search.. then gave him the info..

and I love the people that just came in to say "dick" "Rude" .. what are you contributiting? nothing.. at least i gave him the answer.. so I could have been nicer.. who cares.. I didnt know you guys were all sensative.. you GUYS(i use that term loosely) sound like a bunch of people that traded in their F-body's for volkswagon vans with flowers..

LS7 heads will bolt on to an LS1 block.. BUT.. you need to have the block resleaved.. the 3.898 bore is too small for the LS7 heads.. i believe the minimum bore size to use LS7 heads is 4.100 (LS7 being 4.125)

See this thread over here LS7 Head compatibility

So any way you look at it.. you're going to need to pull the engine, tear it down, resleeve, new pistons rings ect. Starts getting expensive.. the sleeving alone will be around 2500$.. LS7 heads are not cheap.. LS7 intake is about 400$+ retail... also you need a conversion to run your stock throttle body since the new LS7 (90mm) uses 4 bolt mounting instead of 3 bolt

See this thread about the throttle body LS7 90mm with cable

there is a guy on this board who has done conversion this with great results.. I believe the thread on this is still showing over in the LS2-LS7 board..

is this nice enough?? or should dot all my "I"'s with little hearts for the rest of you guys?
