While I have the vette torn down to install a H/C package thought I'd install a heat shield to lower the bbq effect in the car. I noticed the heat shield attaches to the out side of the tunnel cover between the exhaust pipes and tunnel cover. At $325 does the tunnel shield work very well and will it last exposed to all the environmental nasties?
